Insurance
Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services.
When calling your insurance company, be sure to talk with someone regarding “behavioral health” or “mental health,” since benefits for medical care and behavioral health are often different. Please ask the following questions to determine your benefits:
- Does my health insurance plan include outpatient, in-office mental health benefits?
- Does my health insurance plan include telehealth mental health benefits?
- Do I have a deductible? If so, how much is it and have I met it, yet?
- How much will I need to pay if I still have a deductible, and how much will it be once I meet my deductible?
- Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
- Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?
- Is the therapist I will be seeing in network with my plan?
Once you have answers for these questions, share them with our office manager so that she can schedule you to meet your counseling needs and your insurance coverage.

We accept cash, check and all major credit cards as forms of payment.

Good Faith Estimate of Costs
A new consumer protection law called “The No Surprises Act” went into effect on January 1, 2022. Here is the information we are required to give you about the law:
- You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
- Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
- You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
- You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
- If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises/consumers, email FederalPPDRQuestions@cms.hhs.gov, or call 1-800-985-3059.
