Elizabeth Cupo is a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) and masters certified addictions professional (CAP). She joined Bradenton Counseling Center in June 2021 and sees clients exclusively online.
Elizabeth has been a counselor for over 20 years. Her approach is holistic. She individualizes her therapy to her client’s needs, incorporating cognitive, behavioral, psychodynamic, solution focused, and other therapies. Elizabeth works with adolescents and adults who attend counseling as individuals, couples, or families.
Elizabeth worked as a programmer and systems analyst before starting her career in counseling. She has worked with college students with learning or physical disabilities, combat veterans with PTSD, chronically and terminally ill clients and in the field of substance abuse. Elizabeth worked at an employment assistance program where she counseled individuals through work stress, conditions of employment, sexual harassment, layoffs, management skills and other work-related issues. She has a small private practice and has worked extensively with audio and video counseling.
