Karin Schwietz is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (MH 25055), with 13 years of experience as a school-based mental health counselor. Karin received her master’s degree in psychotherapy at the Adler Graduate School in Minnesota. Karin sees clients in person and online. Karin works with children, adolescents, adults, and families who maybe struggling with ADHD, emotional regulation, family changes, anger management, social skills, depression, anxiety, grief, and trauma.
She is deeply committed to supporting individuals on their journey toward healing and personal growth. She works with clients to explore and overcome their unique experiences and challenges. Utilizing a strengths-based approach Karin helps individuals recognize and build on their inherent strengths to navigate difficult emotions and life transitions. She also utilizes play therapy, narrative therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy. Her passion lies in supporting children with their academic and social concerns while empowering them to unlock their strengths and true potential. She is dedicated to walking alongside her clients as they take steps toward resilience and growth.
During her personal time, Karin enjoys spending quality time with family and friends. She loves unwinding by traveling to new places in Florida and exploring new hobbies that bring her joy and nurture her well-being.
