Marsha Packard, MA, LMHC has been licensed in Florida as a mental health counselor since 2000 (MH 6005). She sees clients exclusively in the office. Marsha works with couples and adult individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, adjustment disorders, women’s issues, grief, and life adjustments. Marsha’s approach to counseling is solution-oriented. She is empathetic but direct.
Prior to joining Bradenton Counseling Center in June 2022, Marsha worked at Circles of Care, a community mental health center in Rockledge, Florida, for 23 years. During her years at Circles of Care, Marsha provided counseling for individuals and couples, facilitated support groups, and supervised other therapists. Marsha worked at the Salvation Army Domestic Violence Center earlier in her career.
Marsha and her husband retired in March 2020 and moved to Bradenton to live near their sons, daughters-in-law, and 4 grandchildren. After two years of retirement, Marsha decided to return to the counseling field part-time. She realized that, with all that happened with Covid and its effects on marriages, individuals, and family dynamics, there is a need for her skills in our community.
