Stephanie Pressman, MSCP, LMHC, who works in our east office, is a licensed mental health counselor (FL license # MH 14117).
Stephanie has expertise working with children, adolescents, individual adults, families, grief issues, and women’s issues. Stephanie helps children with school issues, anxiety, including social anxiety, and depression. She specializes in play therapy, including sand tray therapy. Stephanie works with adults addressing issues of depression, anxiety, grieving, addictions and substance abuse, and job stress.
Stephanie has worked as a guidance counselor in public and private schools. She has provided treatment for addictions and substance abuse in outpatient and inpatient psychiatric settings, dealing with co-occuring disorders.
Stephanie received her BS degree in social work from James Madison University in Virginia and her masters degree in counseling psychology from Chaminade University in Honolulu, Hawaii. She has a Florida Professional Educator’s Certificate in Guidance and Counseling, is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), has certification as an equine psychotherapist, and is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP).
Stephanie joined the staff of Bradenton Counseling Center in June 2016.
