Donna Dasko is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who has worked in the mental health field for over 25 years. She sees adults individually at the office and online. Her areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, grief, loss, life transitions, caregiver concerns, physical-health challenges, relationship issues and work-related matters.
Donna offers a compassionate, non-judgmental and collaborative environment helping her clients feel comfortable addressing their concerns and moving toward their goals. She utilizes an integrative approach to treatment, acknowledging the mind/body connection, and accesses strength-based modalities such as motivational interviewing, dialectical behavior therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy as well as somatic therapies.
Donna holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Colorado and a master’s degree in counseling psychology from Naropa University. In addition to being licensed to practice in Florida, she is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado and a National Board Certified Counselor.
Prior to joining the Bradenton Counseling Center, Donna worked at a community mental health center as a counselor/psychotherapist for adults of all ages and as a program manager for an older-adult services team. Most recently, Donna has provided grief counseling, employee-assistance counseling and private-practice counseling/psychotherapy.
